Questions

Straight answers about the slab.

If your question is about a specific page, the Irvine office can take it. Leave the recovery phrase out of the message.

What is Quantumicy?

A hardware wallet from RAD CAMP INC. It is a physical slab that holds private keys for cryptocurrency on a chip, and shows each request on its own screen.

Where does the private key live?

On the chip inside the slab. The computer that prepares a request does not keep a copy. See the note on the chip.

What do the three buttons do?

The middle button, marked with a yellow ring, confirms what the glass is showing. The top and bottom buttons move through the screen or dismiss it. The PIN is entered on these buttons.

Does the slab use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

No. There is no radio. A session with a computer uses the USB-C cable. A sealed cell can keep the glass lit for a reading after the cable leaves, and that cell does not join a network.

What is the phrase for?

It is an 18-word recovery phrase, shown once on the device so you can write it on paper. The paper restores the keys if the slab is lost. The company does not want the words sent to it. The note on the words covers that.

What is the opening list?

A list of names and emails. With a place on it you receive a number, a one-page hardware sheet before the list is called, and a message on the day it is called. The form is at the bottom of the home page.

Who publishes the site?

RAD CAMP INC, 100 Progress, Unit 200, Irvine, CA 92618. Phone +1 (949) 551-9011. The about page has the same details.
